Ceilidh Evening at Platform

Tuesday 4 July 2023, 7:30pm – 10:30pm   |  £40 per person

The word ‘ceilidh’ comes from the Gaelic for a ‘gathering’ or ‘party’. These days a ceilidh is a popular Scottish tradition that centres around a large gathering of people dancing to a live folk band. Join us at Platform, an unusual venue set in Victorian brick vaults, located under the Heilan’mans Umbrella at Glasgow Central Station, right in the heart of the city.

This informal evening will include a welcome drink and buffet meal, followed by a fun evening of traditional Scottish Ceilidh dancing. The famous Jiggers Ceilidh Band will guide you through the steps – with a focus on fun rather than footwork! Places are limited and we would encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
