Call for late-breaking abstracts – now open!

Deadline: Tuesday, 14 February 2023

Share your late-breaking research with the global pharmacology community at the 19th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2023). We are currently accepting abstracts that include the most up-to-date pharmacological research and include findings or data that weren’t available in time for the standard call for abstracts deadline. Please read the author guidelines.

You have until 11:59 pm (GMT) on Tuesday, 14 February 2023 to submit your late-breaking abstract.

We strongly encourage abstracts from early-career researchers, as well as those more established in their field.

Authors will be notified of their acceptance on or before Monday 6 March 2023. More information on your abstract poster presentation or oral communication presentation will be provided then.

Oral communications

If your abstract is accepted as an oral communication, you will be asked to present your oral communication in-person during WCP2023. Oral presenters will have 15 minutes, including questions, so we recommend speaking for no longer than 12 minutes.

Poster presentations

If your abstract is accepted as a poster presentation you will be asked to present your poster in-person during WCP2023.

WCP2023 bursary applications now open – closing 14 February 2023

The WCP2023 ECR fund will provide partial travel support for a minimum of fifty postgraduate students and early career researchers (ECRs) from lower- and middle-income countries who intend to be the sole presenter if their abstract is accepted. The bursary will cover early bird registration, as well as up to 75% of travel and accommodation costs, with a maximum individual award of £750. Find out more and apply for the bursary now.
